PEER SUPPORT GROUPS
You don’t have to do this alone.
There is something irreplaceable about sitting with people who truly understand. Our peer support groups offer a safe, facilitated space for bereaved parents and caregivers to share, grieve, and connect with others who know what this loss feels like.
ABOUT THE GROUPS
A space shaped by lived experience.
Our peer support groups provide a gentle, peer-led space for parents and carers who have experienced the loss of an infant, child or teen, recognising that this grief carries unique complexities not always reflected in broader loss settings. Delivered by trained peer supporters in partnership with trusted community organisations, the groups offer a calm, welcoming environment where parents can connect with others who understand, without expectation or pressure to share. Shaped by trauma-informed practice, these sessions prioritise safety and allow parents to be as they are, while fostering connection, reducing isolation and supporting ongoing adjustment through shared understanding.
UPCOMING GROUPS
Connect with others who truly understand.
We run peer support groups throughout the year. If there's a group coming up that suits you, book your spot directly below. If no current dates work for you, register your interest and we'll be in touch as soon as new groups are confirmed.
Please note: These peer support groups are not suitable for those who have experienced pregnancy loss, including miscarriage or stillbirth. If this applies to you, we encourage you to visit the Family Grief Support Hub at familygriefsupporthub.org.au to find dedicated support services in your area.
Alternatively, please get in touch via the contact us form and we will assist you in finding the right support for you and your family.
